City Chamberlain
The Accounting and Treasury Division of the Finance Department is entrusted with managing and safeguarding all public funds received by the City of Oneida. Responsibilities include the collection of City and County taxes, water and sewer payments, parking tickets, departmental revenues, and special assessments. The division also maintains accurate tax records for all parcels within the City and issues certified ten-year tax searches to attorneys, abstract companies, and property owners upon request. At the close of each business day, staff verify, balance, and deposit all funds into designated City accounts to ensure fiscal accuracy and accountability.
The office will be open Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-3:00PM. The office will also be closed daily for lunch from 12:00PM-1:00PM.
