Barks & Rec
Dog Park

The Barks and Rec Dog Park is the newest addition to the many wonderful parks in the City of Oneida.  Boasting nearly 22,000 square feet, the park is located just behind the City Parks and Recreation office at 217 Cedar Street. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are enjoying the large, grassy areas, agility courses, water fountains and so much more.  There are also themed benches, waste reciprocals, and separate designated areas for large and small dogs.

Many thanks to the Oneida Improvement Committee, Oneida Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, the Gorman Foundation, Community Bank, Lowes, Andy's Tow Service and Finish Line Designs for their generous donations and support. To City of Oneida Supervisor and President of the Oneida Improvement Committee, Joe Magliocca, City of Oneida Mayor, Helen Acker, City employees from the Parks and Recreation Department, DPW, Water Department, and the many community volunteers, this would not have been possible without your time, effort and dedication.

For the safety and enjoyment of all, please adhere to the Rules and Regulations.
