COMMON COUNCIL
The Common Council of the City of Oneida, as outlined in the Oneida City Charter, consists of the Mayor and six elected Councilors, each representing one of the City's six wards. Working in partnership with the City Manager and City staff, the Council sets policy, adopts local laws, and ensures that community needs and concerns are addressed. Together, they are committed to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and the continued improvement of Oneida’s quality of life. On August 20, 2024, by Resolution 24-179, the Common Council approved to adopt Rules and Procedures for City Meetings.
