Kyle Lovell, City Manager for the City of Oneida, brings 20 years of leadership experience from his service in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Master Sergeant in 2023. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Wayland Baptist University, dual Master's degrees in Political Science and Public Policy from Liberty University, and an Executive Master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University's Maxwell School. His diverse background in military leadership and public administration enables him to manage city operations efficiently while fostering community engagement and strategic growth.
A dedicated family man, Kyle is married to his wife Melissa, with whom he shares three children, aged 11, 8, and 4, and a golden retriever, named Frodo! His family has lived around the world, including their last duty station at RAF Lakenheath in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Oneida's Executive team, he proudly served as the Chief Administrative Officer of Seneca County in the beautiful Finger Lakes region and now calls Oneida home. Kyle is excited to bring his leadership experience and passion for public service to this vibrant, historic community."
