The Oneida City Police Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you have an emergency, please call 911. If you wish to speak with a Police Officer for a non-emergency, please call 315-363-2323. Both phone numbers will be answered by a Madison County Dispatcher who will then dispatch the necessary resources.If you wish to contact the police department for non-emergency, please call the station during normal business hours at 315-363-9111. If you call after hours, please leave a message and the message will be reviewed upon the following business day.

A person making the request needs to respond to the station during normal business hours to speak with the Record Department and have proper identification. The background check will only include any arrest made by this agency. There is a $15.00 charge for this service.

If the equipment violation cited on the summons is repaired prior to one half hour after sunset by the following business day, and a Police Officer in New York State inspects the repair within the said time frame, the Police Officer can complete a correction form. It is then the obligations of the violator to submit the correction form and ticket to the court who has jurisdiction of where the violation occurred.

If you wish to plead "GUILTY," indicate as such on the parking ticket and mail or bring this parking ticket with payment in full to the City Chamberlain (108 Main Street Oneida, NY). Write the summons number and your license plate number on the front of your check or money order or pay online (https://oneidany.municipalonlinepayments.com/oneidany/accountsreceivable/quickpay ). Please use the last four of the ticket number as the account number if you choose to pay online.
If you wish to plead "NOT GUILTY," indicate as such on the parking ticket and mail or bring the parking ticket the Oneida City Police Department. You will be notified by mail as to the time and date of your court hearing.
You may also complete a dispute form at the Oneida City Police Department or Oneida City Chamberlain's Office for any parking tickets, during normal business hours.

You may obtain a copy of a police report by responding to the Oneida City Police Department Monday-Friday, during normal business hours. The reports cost $0.25 per page and are available approximately three days after the day of the incident. Pending cases will not be released to any member of the public.
The reports are only able to be distributed by members of the Records Department at the authorization of the Chief of Police. Under certain circumstances, FOIL request may need to be completed at the City Clerk's Office.
