DPW_Picture_of_Workers_CompressedLed by City Engineer Jeffrey Rowe, P.E., the Department of Public Works is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the City’s infrastructure. We take pride in providing dependable, efficient, and forward-thinking services that support a safe and well-maintained community for all residents.

The department maintains approximately 50 miles of two-lane roads, 40 miles of sanitary sewer, 40 miles for storm sewer, 2,250 traffic signs, 2 earthen dams, and city owned trees. Other responsibilities include yard waste pickup, tree trimming and removals, street/roadway repairs and resurfacing, mowing of City properties, street cleaning, sanitary/storm sewer cleaning and repairs and maintaining the City’s vehicle fleet.
