PUBLIC WORKS
Led by City Engineer Jeffrey Rowe, P.E., the Department of Public Works is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the City’s infrastructure. We take pride in providing dependable, efficient, and forward-thinking services that support a safe and well-maintained community for all residents.
The department maintains approximately 50 miles of two-lane roads, 40 miles of sanitary sewer, 40 miles for storm sewer, 2,250 traffic signs, 2 earthen dams, and city owned trees. Other responsibilities include yard waste pickup, tree trimming and removals, street/roadway repairs and resurfacing, mowing of City properties, street cleaning, sanitary/storm sewer cleaning and repairs and maintaining the City’s vehicle fleet.
