Welcome to the City of Oneida City Chamberlain's Office

The office is closed every day from 11:30am to 1:00pm for banking and lunch.

The main function of the City Chamberlain is the custody of all public funds handled by the City. The Chamberlain collects City and County Taxes, water and sewer bills, parking tickets, monthly revenues of various City departments, and special assessments. The City Chamberlain is also responsible for accurate records of all taxes on each parcel in the City of Oneida. At the request of abstract companies' attorneys, and property owners the Chamberlain provides a ten-year tax search. This legal document is certified and sealed by the City Chamberlain. At the end of each day all transactions are totaled, proven and prepared for deposits into City accounts.

2. Pay at the Counter: City Hall, 109 North Main Street Oneida NY 13421
   Hours: 8:00AM–4:00 PM Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM–3:30 PM Fridays and Days preceding Holidays
3. Lock Box drop at City Chamberlain's office during business hours when Chamberlain is not available
4. Lock Box drop off–Between front doors at City Hall, 109 N. Main Street
   Hours: 24 Hours–7 days per week
5. Online Bill Pay Through your Bank
6. Pay your taxes online by Credit card or Electronic check (eCheck)
